Job Location: Newmarket (includes Aurora & Bradford)

IS2 Workforce Solutions is now hiring machine operators for a local manufacturing company in Newmarket, ON for the following shifts:

Shift:  

• Afternoons – 2:00PM-10:10PM
• Nights – 10:00PM-6:10AM

Schedule:   

• Monday-Friday (Afternoons)
• Sunday-Thursday (Nights)

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine operating to create automotive suspension parts
• Lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
• 5S cleaning
• Quality Inspection 

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience (asset)
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have CSA steel toes
• Excellent attendance record
• Comfortable standing for long periods of times
• Comfortable with bending and twisting and doing repetitive moment
• Looking for long term work
• Able to work full time hours

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform material handling tasks, including lifting and moving rolls of fabric or finished products
• Quality checks of finished products to make sure they meet standards
• Assist in packaging, shipping and loading products
• Follow all safety and compliance requirements
• Basic Housekeeping

Requirements:

• Previous Machine operations or production experience is required
• Previous experience with sewing machines is an asset
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attendance record
• CSA approved Safety boots/shoes

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Shift #2

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate all machines with efficiency and confidence
• Load and monitor machines to ensure maximum uptime
• Prepare batches and materials for your assigned line
• Collaborate with team leads for guidance when needed
• Observe machine components for wear and performance issues
• Follow 5S standards: keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize your work area daily
• Dispose of waste properly — no mixing pulp and garbage
• Adhere to all health & safety policies, including proper use of PPE

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
• Previous machine operation experience
• Ability to lift to 50lbs regularly
• Excellent attendance record
• High attention to detail
• Solid problem-solving and mechanical skills
