Pay Rates: $20.00+ / hour

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Execute precision cuts, boning, trimming, and portioning of various meats.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Collaborate with the team to meet customer demand and provide excellent service.
• Operate and maintain meat processing equipment efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new cuts, and continuous learning.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:

• Proven experience in the butchery industry in Canada or abroad
• Proficient in various cutting techniques and comfortable using a range of knives and cutting tools.
• In-depth knowledge of different cuts of meat and a commitment to maintaining high food safety standards.
• Experience operating meat processing equipment, including slicers, grinders, and bandsaws.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads (up to 50 lbs), and work under pressure
