We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our clients site in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints. The CNC Machinist / Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce high-quality components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
• Set up and program machines by installing and adjusting tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure precision in machining.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a CNC Machinist and Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including lathes and mills.
• Familiarity with G Code programming
• Siemens Control is an asset
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Knowledge of Pi Tape

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Friday, must be available for Saturdays (automatic overtime pay)
• 7:00AM – 5:00PM

Pay:

• $30.00/HR – $40.00/HR to start, based on experience
