IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking to hire an industrial maintenance mechanic for a manufacturer in Barrie, ON.

Job Title: Electrical Technician/Panel Builder

Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm & Friday 7:30am-11:30am

Pay Schedule: $22 per hour (paid weekly!)

Job Responsibilities:

• Layout, assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and machinery wiring
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings
• Drilling and cutting holes for electrical power devices
• Mounting and wiring of electrical devices
• Troubleshoot electrical panels
• Properly use hand tools
• Route wires/cables through machine chassis
• Work dependently
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment
• Detail orientated
• Other related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have CSA steel toes
• Excellent attendance record
• Two years of experience in wiring electrical panels
• Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams
• Familiar with electrical codes
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
• Excellent hand/eye coordination
• Comfortable standing for long periods of times
• Comfortable with bending and twisting and doing repetitive moment
• Able to work full time hours
