We’re currently hiring for a Fleet Supervisor for our Edmonton Shipping department. There’s more to any job than words on a page, but we are looking for someone who will supervise our shipping operations in Edmonton with efficiency and a strong focus on service. This role is essential for coordinating and dispatching our fleet to ensure seamless, timely customer deliveries. Here is what your day could look like:
- Overseeing fleet coordination, scheduling, and maintenance to meet National Safety Code standards and All Weather policies.
- Managing dispatch operations for cost-effectiveness, maintaining licenses and permits, and ensuring fleet equipment compliance.
- Providing training, guidance, and supervision to drivers on safety and operational standards, including accident response and investigations.
- Optimizing vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met, and tracking fleet expenditures for cost control.
- Monitoring fuel usage, fleet process indicators, and performance metrics, driving standardization across locations.
- Supporting recruitment, training, and performance management of fleet personnel, while handling fleet-related issues and driver meetings.

- Proven Fleet Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on fleet experience, showing a deep understanding of operations, safety, and compliance.
- Warehouse & Shipping Insight: Background in warehouse management and shipping logistics with a strong grasp on scheduling.
- Dispatch Skills: Experience in dispatching is a plus, helping ensure smooth and efficient routes.
- Leadership in Action: Supervisory or management experience is ideal, showing you’re ready to lead, mentor, and motivate our fleet team.
- Fleet Maintenance Knowledge: Skilled in fleet maintenance practices to keep our vehicles running safely and efficiently.
- Valuable Certifications: Class 1 Driver’s License, PDIC Training, log book and hours of service expertise, vehicle inspection training, LCV certification, load securement, new vehicle rig-up, and disposal experience are all assets that give you a clear advantage.
