Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing work orders to verify information
• Inspecting product for damage or defects and reporting them
• Following the process plan for the Grinding Department
• Doing machine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
• Ensuring attention to detail regarding work orders and drawings
• Achieving required specs using Precision Measurement Equipment
• Completing required fields in the work order program when applicable
• Operating 10 Ton Overhead Crane and Lathe Operations
• Use of hand tools, power tools, lathe tooling and precision measuring instruments
• Reading drawings and/or blueprints
• Following all Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
• Following all work instructions from the Lead Hand and Manager

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Lathe Operation Experience an asset
• Lift Truck Certification or Crane Operation an asset

Shift Details:

• Straight Day Shift:
  • 7:00am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday
  • 7:00am-3:30pm Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20/hour
