Pay Rate: $46.00 – $47.00 hourly + $1.50 overnight premium

Shift Time(s): 9:50PM to 5:30AM overnight, Sunday to Friday

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Answers service calls;
• Prioritizes tasks and repairs via Work Orders from Infor;
• Does the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance (PM) on the
• plant’s equipment;
• Knows how to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical problems and
• finds solutions to solve and repair them;
• Performs basic welding and cutting;
• Knows the operation of electro-mechanical components;
• Takes charge of one or many projects and completes them with minimum
• supervision;
• Contributes to the improvement of the plant’s equipment functioning;
• Works unsupervised on various work shifts;
• Sees to the department’s good housekeeping practices and maintains his
• work areas in good condition;
• Computer literacy to work with CMMS;
• Organizes and maintains stock of spare parts and maintains record for
• inventory control;

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:

• Candidates Must have Red Seal Millwright certification
• High School degree
• Millwright license and/or electrician certificate, an asset
• 5 years of experience in similar functions
• Electrical and PLC experience, an asset
• Instrumentation knowledge
• Technical problems resolution skills
• Proficient in mechanical process
