We are seeking a Mobile Mechanic to work in our Etobicoke Service Center. The on-duty Mobile Mechanic will work in a newly equipped and fully stocked mobile unit. You will handle service requests executed outside of the center, or in the yard for our customers. The ideal candidate must have professional qualities and skills to carry out the repair(s) and/or maintenance of our customers’ trailers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed 310J, combined with (5) years of work experience
• Be able to carry out all mechanical repairs (axles, brakes, electrical systems, air systems, etc.) as well as structural repairs to the various components (floors, walls, doors, etc.) on all makes and semi-trailer models
• Must be able to weld in all positions
• Resourceful, versatile, independent
• Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions,
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record and a valid G license.

Schedule:

• Day shift 8:00AM – 4:30PM, Monday – Friday

Pay:

• $30.00 – $40.00/HR – depending on experience
