Responsibilities:

Robotic Programming and Maintenance:

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems, including orbital welding
• 6 Axis and robotic welding.
• Optimize robot performance for various applications.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve automation processes.
• DC power and signal wiring design
• Assembly of test DC signal systems
• Set up and operate orbital welding equipment.
• Ensure precise welds in critical applications.

Safety and Quality Focus:

• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Conduct quality checks on robotic welds.

Qualifications:

Education: Technical certifications in robotics and welding are a plus.

Experience:

• Strong background in welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing robotics
• Successful completion of Post-Secondary Education
• Electrical troubleshooting ability
• Motivated and self-directed
• Understanding of Ontario Electrical Code and Electrical Circuits
• Knowledge of pneumatics and pneumatic circuit function
• Familiarity with how the different systems interface to the PLC
• Familiarity with common industrial networking protocols
• Knowledge of CSA Safety Standards
