We are currently seeking a reliable Rover / Warehouse Associate to support operations within a fast-paced manufacturing plant. This role involves receiving, storing, staging, and transporting materials throughout the facility and requires experience operating multiple types of material-handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming product and store materials appropriately
- Stage outbound shipments
- Transport product and materials between departments within the plant
- Operate reach truck, power jack, and walkie/ride-on pallet jack
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in material movement
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Work Environment:
- Refrigerated facility (average temperature 6°C)
- PPE provided; steel-toed, CSA-approved footwear required
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift Certification (required)
- Minimum Class 1, 2, and 3
- Full forklift certification (all classes) considered an asset
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and safety-focused
- Standard criminal background check required
Training:
- Mandatory 8-hour paid orientation on the first day prior to starting the role
Contract Duration:
- Temporary assignment with a potential end date of February 27, 2026, dependent on production volumes
Wage: $25.40 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Schedule may vary as needed; primarily morning shift
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays, based on volume and staffing needs
