The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Wage: $20.00 per hour, plus bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading:

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments by checking the quantity and quality of items received against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Inspect shipments for any damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.

Storage and Organization:

• Store materials and products in designated locations.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Follow proper storage procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of products.

Order Picking and Packing:

• Accurately pick items from inventory based on order lists.
• Pack items securely and accurately for shipment.
• Label and prepare orders for shipping.

Shipping:

• Prepare and process shipping documents.
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.

General Duties:

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks and projects as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory software.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily based in a warehouse environment.
• May require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season and warehouse conditions.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
