We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Packagers to join our customers dynamic team in Scarborough. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are prepared for shipment efficiently and accurately. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties

• Assemble and package products according to company standards and specifications.
• Operate various warehouse equipment.
• Perform order picking tasks, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged items to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks as necessary, ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packaging environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and shipping/receiving operations is beneficial.
• Must be capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards within the workplace.

Hours

• 7:30AM – 7:30PM days, 7:30PM – 7:30AM nights, on a continental rotation – MUST WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND and MUST ROTATE

Pay

• $19.24HR with a $1.00 shift premium on the night shift rotation
