Are you a driven, self-motivated sales professional with a passion for building strong client relationships and uncovering growth opportunities? We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative (ideally with metals or industrial sales experience) to join our team and play a key role in expanding revenue and market share within a defined territory. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service, foster long-term partnerships, and identify strategic sales opportunities. You’ll travel within your region, engage virtually with customers, and help drive the ongoing success of the branch

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts within your territory
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market share
- Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions and sales activity
- Collaborate with inside sales and support teams to ensure outstanding customer service
- Prepare quotations and proposals for management approval
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively
- Develop annual marketing plans for key accounts and prospects
- Monitor industry trends, pricing changes, and competitor activity
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and training seminars
- Deliver value-driven communication to clients and prospects
- Support inside sales team as required
- Uphold company values and quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in metals industry, commercial, or industrial sales is a strong asset
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities
- Adaptable to remote/field work with disciplined focus
- Excellent communication skills (phone, email, video conferencing)
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient with CRM and sales technologies
- Confident presenting KPIs, account updates, and market insights to leadership
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
