A well-established distributor in the pet specialty food industry is looking for a Customer & Accounts Clerk to join their team in Concord, ON. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, supporting customers, and being part of a pet-loving environment.

The company services Eastern Canada, including Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes, and is located just north of Highway 407 and Keele Street.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Posting EFT and E-Transfer payments
  • Processing and posting credit card charges
  • Maintaining customer credit card authorization forms
  • Posting vendor invoices and preparing them for payment
  • Performing accurate data entry and financial calculations
  • Generating reports for customers and vendors (Excel, PDF)
  • Communicating with customers about delivery services
  • Assisting customers with general inquiries, returns, and order tracking
  • Supporting customer service with order processing
  • Resolving customer disputes professionally and effectively
  • Setting up and maintaining customer login portals
  • Performing basic administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Solid math skills for day-to-day calculations
  • Intermediate computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a related role (required)
  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Post-secondary education (an asset but not required)
