We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts. This role involves working closely with suppliers, sales representatives, and couriers — both over the phone and in person — while maintaining high accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all general warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Operate forklifts, including Reach, Counterbalance, and Order Picker (training available if not certified)
- Handle inventory control and cycle counts
- Maintain accurate records using WMS and other computer systems
- Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and couriers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Lift and move heavy materials as required
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience (3PL and logistics backgrounds less preferred)
- Forklift experience (Reach, Counterbalance, Order Picker) – certification an asset
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labour safely
- Must pass a clean criminal background check (processed through Triton)
Work Environment & PPE:
- Steel-toe tall boots required
- Additional PPE (safety glasses, vest, and hearing protection) provided
