IS2 Workforce Solutions is looking for Shipper/Receivers in Brampton!
As a Shipper/Receiver reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, your primary responsibilities include picking orders, loading and unloading products and materials from trucks.
Key Accountabilities:
Pre-pricing Products:
- Pre-price products for customers.
- Track inventory and maintain pre-pricing items.
- Monitor pre-pricing quantities, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Ensure correct handling and segregation of pre-priced inventory in the warehouse.
Storage and Order Processing:
- Place various products into designated storage areas.
- Utilize the scanning system for order picking and stage loads efficiently.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform cycle counts regularly.
Material Handling Equipment (MHE):
- Operate Reach truck, Rider, Dock Stocker, Cherry Picker, and Walkie.
- Maintain valid licenses and experience in MHE operation.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills:
- Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and organize in a dynamic environment.
Physical Ability:
- Capable of heavy lifting, up to and including 50 lbs.
- Practical testing required prior to commencement.
- Hand-eye coordination.
- Extended periods of standing.
Team Collaboration:
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
- Promote a safe environment, adhering to outlined rules.
