What You’ll Do:

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for supporting the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate movement of the inventory. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting the warehouse operations and delivering on the productivity requirements of our customers.

  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Relocate items within a warehouse
  • Unload incoming shipments to verify quantity and condition of goods
  • Unload and properly store received inventory in designated areas
  • Pick, pack, and load outbound orders onto delivery trucks
  • Create crates for shipment; assist in transfers as needed
  • Working in confined space and/ or cold environments (travelling in/out of refrigerated (~4C).
  • Wrap and prepare products for shipping
  • Other duties as assigned

Technical Experience

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehousing operations.
  • Experience with RF Scanner is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Proficiency in using order entry systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Produce / fresh food experience preferred for some Clients.
