Job Responsibilities:

• Setting up/taking down our inflatables and games, cleaning, and regular maintenance of our units
• Operation of equipment
• Greet and facilitate a great experience for children and parents for equipment

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18+
• Valid driving license and transportation to travel to a variety of locations including London and Sarnia

Job Type: Part-Time  Shifts available

Time: 12:30pm – 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday

Payrate $17/hr

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• This job requires a forward thinking, logical approach as you will be assembling custom doors for unique projects and builds.
• Ability to assemble and build custom wood doors
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Measure, cut and assemble (at times using a radial arm saw)
• Help pin the fire doors at times
• Safely assemble door frames using pneumatic and manual tools while working in a fast paced environment
• Prep sanding
• Laminating and glueing
• Placement of glass on doors, cutting trim
• May require operating a Heeseman Sanding machine and work with cranes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:

• Previous experience in a Door Manufacturing facility
• Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tape and carpentry tools (saw, profile sander, orbital sander etc)
• Repetitive use of hands, bending and lifting standing for long periods of time
• Grade 12 and/or relevant diploma
• Ability to work fast paced work environment
• Excellent fine tune motor skills
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Provide training to more junior level, less experienced workers.
• Willing to work occasional weekends and extended hours during the work week as needed and be flexible to schedule changes.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• All finishing touches of the door, including placement of glass into the doors; cutting trim; Important to note tempered glass cannot be cut (95%) firelight can be cut.
• Operation of the Heesemann Sanding Machine. Work with cranes. Run whole doors through the sander, set-up of Heesemann machine with precision. (Fire Door 300 lbs). Vaccumm lifter on crane. Load panels manually at times 50 lbs range. Apply stains (Pat).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN ORDER TO QUALIFY:

• Previous experience working with wood.
• Knowledge and ability to successful interpret blueprints.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools; tape measure, hammer, table saw, trimmer, planer etc.
• Capable of performing repetitive, physical work.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 200 lbs. using a dual lift.
• Flexible to work in any area of the facility.
• Must be able to frequently lift to 150-200 lbs. with a dual lift – new lift assist equipment most done there.
• Most work is performed below to above shoulder level – up and extended reach.

• Paint vinyl and aluminum door slabs with water based paint products
• Staining and finishing doors, including top coats to a superior finish
• Ability to mix paint using solutions such as catalyst
• Clean and wash spray guns before changing paint

• Continuing education and experience related to door assembly, paint, carpentry or wood working skills are an asset

Health and Safety:

• Adhere to all health and safety procedures as set out by the company
