Property Maintenance Specialist in Calgary | $30/hr (2025-12-03)

Got the Fix-It Factor? We’re looking for a skilled Property Maintenance Specialist who knows their way around tools, repairs, and building upkeep. If you’re the person everyone calls when something needs to be fixed properly, this role is for you.

This is a hands-on, independent role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting a variety of client sites, tackling repairs, maintenance tasks, and general improvements with professionalism, reliability, and a strong customer service approach.

Indoor Maintenance & Repairs

  • Complete general repair tasks (drywall patching, painting, caulking, minor electrical/plumbing).
  • Assemble furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Replace lighting, hardware, and minor building components.
  • Inspect and maintain appliances and facility equipment.

Outdoor & Seasonal Work

  • Perform seasonal maintenance (snow removal, lawn care, light landscaping).
  • Repair exterior structures (fences, gates, siding).
  • Power wash exterior surfaces, sidewalks, decks, etc.
  • Assist with exterior painting and general property upkeep.

General Responsibilities

  • Respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely, professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Track repairs and materials used.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a skilled trade environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Diverse skill set: basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and general repairs.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices (asset).
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • A self-starter who can take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Special Conditions

  • Personal tools are considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance required.
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift 55 lbs.
  • CSA-approved safety boots required.

Quality Assurance Inspector in Woodstock | (2025-01-03)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join a great company in Woodstock. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with various departments to uphold our commitment to quality management and customer satisfaction.

Compensation:

  • Starting salary would be $55K to $65K (review and adjustments after 90 day probation).
  • Full Benefit package starts after 90 day probation.
  • Company supplied work clothes after completion of 90 day probation.
  • Company sponsored Pension starts after 12 months (3% employee + 3% company matched).

Responsibilities:

  • Actual Inspecting First-off, In-Process and completed parts and completing documentation for lot tracking.
  • Performing calibration of gages and measuring equipment.
  • Report to the General and Operations Manager on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement.

Skills Required:

  • Ability to interpret customer prints, technical specifications and quality assurance standards.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T within Fabrication, Machining and Weld shop inspection techniques.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector with within Metal Fabrication with actual ability of using full mechanical and digital inspection equipment.
  • Level 2 quality Inspector preferred
  • Some post secondary education
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation.
  • CMM Experience – preferrable with Faro CMM
