Electronic Assembler – Soldering & Inspection

Location: Barrie | Full-Time | Pay: 20.50/hour

We’re looking for a skilled Electronic Assembler with hands-on experience in soldering (SMT and Through-Hole) and electronic inspection. If you’re detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to grow with a great team, we’d love to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in electronic assembly
• At least 1 year of soldering experience (Surface Mount & Through-Hole)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexibility to support overtime when needed

Qualifications & Assets:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Electronics Technician Diploma is a plus)
• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Familiarity with ESD handling and cleanroom procedures is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic and mechanical parts based on specs and work instructions
• Perform hand soldering (SMT and Through-Hole)
• Conduct visual inspections and rework/repair as needed
• Prepare and install components and parts
• Pack finished products for shipping
• Take part in training and certification to keep skills up to date
• Support quality improvement initiatives within your team

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

• Assisting with testing and production of electronic assemblies
• Helping with pre-production inspections and setup
• Supporting operational tasks like loading/unloading materials and equipment
