We’re looking for an experienced Lead Field Erector to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Field Supervisor and/or General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the assembly, installation, and erection of metal buildings and related projects at customer sites. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities — coordinating field labourers, ensuring safety compliance, and keeping projects on schedule.

Location: Various customer sites (out-of-town work required)
Pay: From $38/hour
Hours: 44 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with overtime potential

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assemble and install sheet metal buildings and enclosures
  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints
  • Work from elevated platforms, lifts, and on in-progress structures
  • Ensure installations meet all specifications, building codes, and safety standards
  • Complete and deliver project paperwork accurately and on time
  • Lead and mentor Field Labourers, providing training and guidance
  • Act as a role model for quality, safety, and professionalism on-site
  • Identify and share ideas for improving field operations and processes

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in sheet metal building erection or related construction fields
  • 3–4+ years as a Lead, Foreman, or Supervisor of a crew
  • Certifications: CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, Man Lift/AWP/EWP
  • Driver’s license with clean abstract and own transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
  • Willingness to work out of town as required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism and customer service mindset
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing for customer requirements
