IS2 is looking for a full-time Licensed Millwright (433A) / Maintenance Technician in Hamilton. Apply today, you could start working as soon as next week! 

Shift Details:

• We run 2 shifts, but occasionally run a third.
• Days shift (Straight shift) 6:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday to Friday
• Afternoon shift (rotating between afternoon and night) 2:00 pm to 10:00pm (has a .45/hour premium)
• Night shift (rotating between afternoon and night) 10:00 pm to 6:00am (has a 1.15/hour premium)

Facility notes:

• One section does contain led; this being said, it is very contained, with shields, PPE, massive filters and safety protocols.
• We do a blood test to screen for lead every 6 months as a precaution
• Uniforms are supplied but will remain on site for cleaning a reduce the risk of cross contamination. Employees are also encouraged to have lunch on site to reduce this risk.
• Exceptionally clean facility.  Very well organized, well lit and no distinct odors
• Looking for a team player, go getter and upbeat
• Do not require their own tools, but are welcome to bring them
• All HVAC and forklift maintenance is outsourced
• 50,000 sq. ft facility
• They are NOT able to signoff on apprenticeship hours; they currently do not have a licensed millwright on site
• they run 4-5 lines

• After 2 years of employment, there is a 2% contribution to pension; if the employee contributes 1% of earning, the company will contribute an additional 1%, for a total of 3%
• Yearly bonus, traditionally 10% of the annual salary

Millwrights:

• Must have 433A, open to length of experience
• Pay rate between $40-$42/hour (depending on experience)
• Will primarily doing PM’s, troubleshooting, rebuilding stands, pumps and gearboxes
• Fabrication skills are an asset (welding)
• Some experience with conveyors is also an asset
• Must have pneumatic experience
• Anyone with seam welding and/or tube mfg. would be a HUGE asset, as well as automotive, metal fabrication and milling/metal forming. 

Maintenance Technician:

• All the same duties of the millwright
• Someone who finished school, but perhaps did not pass the exam
• Pay rate between $34-$38/hour
