We are seeking an energetic and driven Outside Sales Representative to grow business within the hydraulic and cylinder industry. This role focuses on business-to-business sales and will require daily cold calling, client relationship building, and territory development across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a minimum of 20 outbound sales calls daily to prospective and existing clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hydraulic and cylinder market
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Prepare and deliver weekly sales reports to the owner
- Work remotely while managing your own schedule effectively
- Travel within the assigned territory as needed (starting in Edmonton and expanding into Red Deer, Lloydminster, Whitecourt, and Rocky Mountain House)
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in business-to-business sales
- Outgoing, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Experience in the heavy equipment or industrial sales industry is highly desirable—especially with companies such as Brant Tractor, Finning, SMS Equipment, Wajax, Hitachi, or experience selling to oil rigs
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with remote work and regular territory travel
Location: Remote (Starting in Edmonton, AB; expanding to Red Deer, Lloydminster, Whitecourt, and Rocky Mountain House)
Compensation:
- Base salary of $50,000 + 7% commission
- Opportunity to transition into a 100% commission role with potential to work as a subcontractor
