We are hiring a short-term Shipper/Receiver to cover our teammates time off, in Vaughan. We require this employee for 8 weeks / 2 months. There is an opportunity to stay with the company long-term.

Duties:

– Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
– Unload, unpack, and inspect all incoming materials
– Sort and distribute incoming shipments to appropriate departments or storage areas
– Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer specifications
– Ensure accuracy of shipping documents, including labels and packing slips
– Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and update records
– Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse (IF LICENSED. Not required, but an asset)
– Perform order picking and packing duties as needed
– Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

– SAP Experience/Knowledge is a must
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling packages and documentation
– Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
– Excellent organizational skills to ensure proper storage and retrieval of materials
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
– Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments
– Forklift license/experience is not required but an asset

Shift:

Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 4:00PM, with flexibility

Pay:

$25.00/HR to start, depending on experience
