Job Types:            Casual / On-call

Pay Rate:              $18/hr.

Schedule:             Weekends: Friday-Sunday

On-call for 8 hr. Shifts

24-hr Operation – (3) Shifts

Work Location:    Northeast Calgary, AB AND Transit Accessible

What You’ll Do:

1. Working in a refrigerated warehouse environment completing Picking and Repacking
2. Heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
3. Working in confined space and/ or cold environments (travelling in/out of refrigerated (~4C).
4. Separate, wrap and prepare products for shipping using order picking machines
5. Maintain a clean working environment.
6. This position involves standing, walking, heavy lifting, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
7. Assist other areas when needed.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a distribution, logistics or warehousing operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
• Proficiency in using order entry systems and inventory management software is an asset.
• Fresh food experience is an asset.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

Equipment Experience:

• Pallet/ Power jack experience is an asset but not required
• Experience with RF Scanner is an asset but not required

Special Conditions Of Employment:

• Must have CSA-approved safety boots and reflective vest
• Must be Health & Safety conscious
